This investment programme sets out a long-term goal that all future actions and projects will work towards. It involves all levels of local authority, town businesses, organisations, and stakeholders. The programme will help towns like Eye to achieve their community’s ambitions and forms a unified aim for each town.
Previous consultation took place across the town with the community, businesses, and wider stakeholders. The consultation provided a potential vision for the town, with key priorities and ambitions for future growth and development. This includes:

stimulating civic pride and promoting investment
The intention is to continuously engage with communities and stakeholders to ensure that the Vision truly reflects the people of the town and their ambitions as we move forward with key projects and schemes.

The Suffolk GP Federation are offering local workplaces the opportunity to have free NHS Health Checks delivered to all staff who:➡️ Are aged 25 - 74 years old➡️ Have none of the following: heart disease, high blood pressure, atrial fibrillation, high cholesterol, diabetes, stroke, kidney disease or dementia.➡️ Have not already had their full 30 min NHS Health Check in the last five years.

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance the health and well-being of your staff through. The NHS Health Check can identify early signs of conditions such as heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, and dementia. It is an opportunity to provide people with the information they need to reduce their risk of developing these conditions.

Rural England Prosperity Fund
Grant Schemes
Applications will be assessed on a first come, first served basis and subject to funding still being available. Grant determination panels will be held monthly.
The deadline for submitting applications is 31st December 2024.
Please note that this is a capital only fund. Capital means assets that have monetary value, such as equipment, real estate, and inventory.
