The works are programmed to take place between 7pm and 5am from Monday 14 October until Friday 18 October. During this time, the road will be closed to ensure the safety of highway users and our operatives.

For your awareness, we are planning to carry out carriageway repairs in preparation for surface dressing along Eye Road, Brome and Oakley, Langton Green, Eye and Victoria Hill, Eye.
For the duration of the closure, traffic will be diverted via B1077, B1117, A140, B1077 and vice versa.
Whilst works are being carried out, the weight restriction along B1077 Broad Street, Eye and Lambseth Street, Eye (between the junctions with B1117 Magdalen Street, Eye and Castleton Way, Eye) will be temporarily lifted to allow all traffic to access the diversion route.
To enable us to carry works out as planned, we ask that local road users please move their vehicles from the area highlighted by 'no parking' cones.
We will return to site to complete surface dressing during the 2025/26 financial year, and will communicate these works prior to their commencement.
